Jebel Jais Flight was certified by Guinness World Records as the world's longest zipline, at about 2.83 km. Riders fly face-down; Visit Jebel Jais quotes speeds up to 150 km/h and the episode says up to 160 km/h. There is also the shorter Zipline Tour (Jais Sky Tour), seven lines with a sky bridge, which Paris did first.
Age limit and rules
Visit Jebel Jais gives a minimum age of 12. Under-18s need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Official sources differ on minimum height (122 cm on the RAKATION terms, 130 cm on Visit Ras Al Khaimah), so check when booking. Bring original photo ID. Dresses, skirts, sandals and flip-flops are not allowed.
Timings
Visit Ras Al Khaimah lists winter (October to April) flights from 9:30am to 4pm, and summer (May to September) flights at 10:30am and 5pm. Times change in Ramadan and bad weather.

About Death defying zip line between mountains
Guy in Dubai treks down to Ras Al Khaimah to the largest mountain in the UAE; Jebal Jais which peaks at 1,911m. The via ferrata is a climb alongside the mountain and includes three zip-lines. The longest zip-line is 300m and stretches between two peaks.
This extreme adventure included rock climbing and zip lining just an hour and a half from Dubai, UAE in the Al Hajar mountain range.
