Royal Oman Police eVisa Map: Musandam Enquire / book More day trips
Musandam is a governorate of Oman separated from the rest of the country by the UAE. Its steep inlets, or khors, earn it the nickname "the Norway of Arabia". Most day trips are dhow cruises with swimming and snorkelling stops.
Khasab or Dibba?
Khasab trips drive north through Ras Al Khaimah and cross into Oman, making a long day. Dibba trips start on the east coast.
Paperwork
- An original passport for every traveller, with enough validity.
- The right to enter Oman for your nationality: check the Royal Oman Police eVisa site.
- A UAE visa that lets you re-enter. A single-entry visit visa may be used up when you leave.
- Driving yourself? You need Oman insurance and, for a rental, the company's permission.
