Can you eat your way round the world without leaving Dubai? Paris and food expert Nicky Ramchandani try, choosing five places tied to the communities that made the city.
They start at Nicky's food hall, which gathers 11 street-food regions under one roof, then modern Emirati at Karak Inc. In Mamzar, a corner of Dubai Paris had never visited, Khoory Special Kebab serves Shirazi-style kebabs. A Safari Mall food court stop brings Keralan fish curry steamed in banana leaf.
Korean at Sonamu follows, before Kooya, where the team explain that Filipinos greet each other with "have you eaten?"
