Dubai's contrast between the bustling modern metropolis we see today with the old Arabian pearl trading village, is what makes the success of this city so interesting. From very humble beginnings, the city has become a city of the future.

We took a seaplane tour over the city with Seawings to see the mass expansion of the new city, from the Burj Khalifa and over the man made islands in the sea. We then take a step back to the past at the Gold Souk, Spice Souk and Iranian Souk to see how the early trades took place.
